A Humanist Celebrant is a certified, non-religious officiant who creates ceremonies rooted in human values, personal story, and meaningful ritual. Fia is endorsed by the Humanist Society and the American Humanist Association.
Yes. Fia specializes in non-religious, humanist ceremonies—personal, inclusive, and deeply meaningful without religious doctrine. Cultural or symbolic elements that matter to you are always welcome.
With a free initial conversation. We talk about your hopes and dreams for the ceremony, who may be involved, and the elements that could be included. There’s no obligation.
Yes. Fia does not use templates or scripts. Every ceremony is one-of-a-kind, written collaboratively with you and based on your story and values.
It depends on the package—from about 5 minutes for a Simple Elopement to 25–30 minutes for a Fully Personalized Ceremony (not including the Processional and Recessional).
Yes. Assistance with the marriage license application and the legal filing of your license is included in every wedding package.
For the Fully Personalized, Personalized, and many Intimate ceremonies, a virtual rehearsal is included so we walk through every element together before the day.
Each package includes travel to any location within 30 minutes/miles of the Celebrant. An additional fee applies to travel to a further location.
Absolutely. The LGBTQ+ community is important to Fia, and she is a vocal ally who celebrates love by creating unique, human-centered ceremonies for every couple.
Completely. Modern or traditional rituals, cultural or symbolic elements, and meaningful touches inspired by nature, family, or shared experiences are all welcome.
