TIPS FOR COUPLE

• Treat the planning for your wedding as the start of your marriage with ups and downs and conflict. Be kind to each other. Figure out what matters the most to you.  It is delicious food and engaging music or...?

• (Guests tend to get bored or not know what to do with that time between the the ceremony and reception. Try to keep the gap between the two short.

• Invest in an officiant who will take the time to create something unique that works for you. Weddings have professional vendors for a reason. A professional officiant enhances your wedding greatly.

• Bridesmaids/groomsmen can be any gender. Simply call them attendants. best man, best woman, or best person.

• Infuse traditions with your values. A woman can be a ring bearer. Ask for or make donations to charity on behalf of yourself and your guests.

• Turn off your phones and do not photograph any of the  ceremony. Refrain from posting wedding photos on any social media until the couple has posted (unless the couple says otherwise). The images of someone’s wedding should be theirs to control.
